Aakrit Vaish is Director, Flurry India, overseeing all of the company’s activities in the region. Flurry is the market leader in mobile application analytics and advertising, tracking over 300m devices a month and three times the volume of data as Twitter. Flurry has more data about consumer mobile app usage than any other entity in the world, and is a thought leader in the space frequently cited across industry events and publications. Aakrit is responsible for worldwide business operations of the advertising network, corporate reporting and the company’s customer center. As part of his role, he works with mobile app companies on creating and implementing monetization and user acquisition strategies using the Flurry network. Aakrit was among the first 20 employees at Flurry, and was based out of the San Francisco headquarters before moving to Mumbai in 2011 to start and run India operations.Aside from Flurry, he actively advises and invests in early stage technology companies in the areas of digital advertising, analytics, gamification, and of course mobile. Prior to Flurry, Aakrit worked as a Strategy Consultant for Deloitte Consulting, serving clients in the public sector. Prior to that, Ajay developed a new business initiative for RMS in the US, focused on creating a range of data services, products and solutions to help insurance and reinsurance companies improve the quality of their exposure data used in catastrophe risk modelingAjay is also the founder of RMSI Pvt. Ltd, one of India’s leading geospatial information services and solutions companies. He established RMSI in 1992 as a joint venture with RMS. RMSI was sold to the Daily Mail, one the UK’s leading media enterprise, in 2002. Prior to founding RMSI, Ajay worked in Tokyo with Kumagai Gumi Ltd., a leading Japanese architecture/engineering/construction company. Ajay has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (New Delhi, India) and a Masters degree in Structural Engineering from Stanford University (California, USA). Aloke Bajpai is the CEO & Founder of iXiGO.com and a pioneer of travel meta-search in India. A first-generation entrepreneur, he started his career with Amadeus, the world’s leading travel technology company, in the French Riviera. Aloke returned to India post business-school in 2005, worked as VP, Distribution Strategy, at FinalQuadrant until mid-2006, and then with his co-founders, bootstrapped and launched iXiGO.com in 2007, a consumer-friendly travel search engine. Since then, with word of mouth growth and very little seed capital, iXiGO.com grew to 1 million visitors per month and in late 2011, raised $18.5 million from SAIF Partners and MakeMyTrip in a landmark deal for online travel. Aloke has played an active role in the venture ecosystem in India, through his involvement at proto.in, NASSCOM & TiE.
